Before Your Visit

Pre-Trip Phone/Email Consultation

Before journeying to the clinic, we invite you to contact the clinic patient coordinator to estimate your treatment procedure, length etc. You may be asked to fill out an online intake form, including your personal information, current hemorrhoid treatments (if any), and your medical history.

Plan Your Trip

Once you have an idea of how long your treatment will be, you’ll need to book your appointment with the clinic. You’ll also need to book your flight and reserve your accommodations for the duration of your stay. We do our best to make your visit as stress-free as possible but please note that flights and accommodations are not included with the cost of treatment.

In-Clinic Treatment

Your treatment plan may last up to two to three weeks, during which time you may receive the minor surgery in our clinic and require post-op dressing changes. During your treatment, we may also recommend the use of suppositories or sitz baths to provide additional relief.

Travelling to the Clinic

By Air

There are several direct flights to the Calgary International Airport at 2000 Airport Road NE, Calgary, AB. the airport is a 25 minute drive from the clinic.

By Car

If you live within a neighbouring province such as BC, Saskatchewan or Northern Alberta, you may find it easiest to drive to the clinic. Please be mindful of icy road conditions when travelling during the winter months.

By Public Transit

The transit system in Calgary is called the C-train. The station nearest our clinic is Chinook Station at 229 61 Ave SW, Calgary, AB. Our clinic is a six-minute walk from the station.

By Taxi/Uber

The clinic is situated in the heart of Calgary, just one block away from Chinook Mall, Calgary’s largest shopping centre. We recommend driving or contacting a cab company. Calgary also has many active Uber drivers.
